Claire began her career in the public sector working for the NHS and was responsible for introducing one of the first online tools in the region to support the development of administration and nursing staff across the Trust. This led to an increase in the achievement of nationally recognised qualifications amongst this employee group.
Experience in the Utilities sector then followed, initially in the training and development function, but then moving to a generalist HR role. It is during this time Claire discovered the SDI tool and began to deliver in team development, management development, graduate training, one to one coaching, to name just a few! As an ACAS trained Mediator, Claire also works with clients to resolve conflict through mediation, using the principles of the SDI.
Graduating from Northumbria University with a BA (Hons) in Human Resource Management, Claire is also a Chartered Member of the CIPD and has experience of people management and development across all levels of the organisation.
Claire lives in North Yorkshire with her husband and Labrador Lucy.
